Thanks to all partners of Rotary Global Grant 2119940, including the Toledo Rotary Club Foundation, a total of 43 Romanian children have had their hearts healed over the past 6 months.

The Romanian pediatric cardiac team which is comprised of healthcare professionals from Cluj and Bucharest work in collaboration every other weekend at Grigore Alexandrescu Hospital in Bucharest to light the world with hope for Romanian children and their families.

We expect to provide care to approximately 20 more children in need which will complete grant funding. This will exceed the planned 56 surgeries thanks to the efficient use of supplies and medications purchased with grant funds as well as disposable contributions from the hospital.

All surgeries have been completed with a 100% success rate!
