March Matchness is almost here and we need you celebrity bartenders to sign up! The way March Matchness works (if you don’t recall) is that we get together at the Toledo Club, watch the second day of college basketball March Madness games and get all bartending tips donated to the Toledo Rotary Foundation. The total tip amount is then matched by one (or more) very generous donor(s)!!  The only way to drive up the donation (and the match) is for US TO EARN THOSE TIPS!

Don’t worry…you won’t need to know how to make a Long Island iced tea or an Alabama Slammer. Toledo Club will provide a backup bartender to make sure we don’t mess up!

The date is Friday, March 22. It will go from noon to 8 p.m. with celebrity bartenders from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Click here to signup for your one-hour bartending slot. Sign up for whenever you can!  And don’t be afraid to come in costume or sign up for a competing slot against your best friend or arch enemy – mine is Daric Peppers (enemy, obviously). The attached photo may or may not be a Rotary member from a prior year who clearly dusted me…truly service above self!

Sign up soon so we can highlight some of the “celebrity” bartenders that the Rotary members should expect at the event. Also, this event is OPEN TO ALL. Bring your friends and coworkers to enjoy the games, some light appetizers, and drinks all for a good cause!
